PRODUCT INFORMATION

Our primary drill rig is a Barber (Foremost) DR 40 crawler mount drill. This drill is a dual rotary type, where the bottom drive turns and crowds the casing at the same time as the top drive turns the downhole hammer on the inside of the casing. Basically, this amounts to a one step process to advance the casing( usually steel pipe) from 16" diameter to 40" diameter through all types of overburden into bedrock. The heavy duty ring bit on the casing can actually drill reinforced concrete if necessary.
